I am looking forward to a great evening.Jim SiglerdivemasterMike- I'll bet there will be no-shows with your odds of getting in to your advantage.divemasterI hope that you decided to show up, Mike. There were seats available.FutureAstronaut quote:Originally posted by divemaster:I hope that you decided to show up, Mike. They had interesting thoughts and stories to share. As usual, Wally had lots of great jokes and really had us laughing. There was a video message from John Glenn who had been unable to attend the event. He had some funny jokes too.Are you a Turtle?YBYSAIAJim SiglerBRIAN LEEGreat lecture. I took my wife ,who does not have much interest in space and she was over the top . divemasterUnfortunately, I had to leave as soon as it was over. It was wonderful to see everyone, no matter how short the time was.Our astronauts are truly national treasures and listening to any and all of them is being a part of history. The Scott Carpenter/Bill Douglas centerfuge story was an evening highlight. They are truly "the brotherhood".RocketmanRobDefinitely was a great evening. I've had the chance to meet a number of the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo astronauts via the UACC autograph shows, but this was very different as you get to hear them tell their stories for an hour and half or so. If you get the chance, I would definitely recommend attending one of these types of lectures.Tracy, sorry you had to leave so quickly, I was going to come by and say hello, but did't get the chance even though you were sitting in the row behind me.Rob
